 An IC Card, also known as integrated circuit card or chip card, which is formed by embedding one or more integrated circuits on a plastic card of the same size as an credit bank card.


An integrated circuit chip can be a memory or a processor. IC cards with memory are also called memory cards, which can store a large amount of information. However, smart cards not only have memory capacity, but also have the function of processing information, and IC cards with microprocessors are also called smart cards.
